Wish Mandala with Wish Flags, 1 of 5
Wish Mandala with Wish flags was created at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden, Dowell, MD. I asked visitors to create flags with their wishes. 830 people participated over 6 weeks. I used their flags as elements of the installation to create a stage like atmosphere within the forest grove.

Frozen Creek Mandala 1 of 5 (Day)
@ Jentel residency in Wyoming. This piece was made with the most minimalist approach. I carefully scouted the location, and chose the material with a focus on impermanence. At the end it was just ice accented with candles. The effect on the viewers reflected the quiet and austere way in which I fashioned the work, mainly by simply sweeping the surface of the frozen creek.
